Dunbeath harbour is 30 miles south of John O’Groats.

The boat, which is clinker built, is about 100 years old and would have originally been 18 feet long.  Now it is undergoing a makeover by artist Pete Hadfield and will become part of a performance installation at ‘The Edge’ in Birmingham.
